One of the harvestmen living in my backyard, has found itself a French snack.
I like eating molluscs myself, though I'm not particularly fond of escargots. I don't believe I've eaten any other gastropods.

I really like the shapes captured in this piece. Here, you have the spider protruding up/down, while the "French snack" is on its side, horizontal instead of vertical. The contrast is pretty awesome in that sense.
Lovely focusing too, with the softness in the foreground and the sharpness further back. I like how the background is mostly plain and not distracting, so we can focus on what is happening here.
The black and white contrast lends a serious air to it, but it also strips it down to what this is actually about - nature at its best.
